Street Fighter x Sanrio Merchandise Unveiled
Well, this looks kawaii!
San Diego, California-based peripheral maker Mad Catz reveals the latest in many Street Fighter crossovers, this time mashing it up with another well-loved Japanese franchise–Sanrio. Indeed, the company has bought the licenses for both and put them together to come up with Street Fighter x Sanrio line of accessories.
First on the line is its Arcade Fightstick Pro, which works on both Xbox 360 and PS3. The $ 160 pink joystick console gathers Sanrio characters, both popular and not-so-familiar, dressed up as the World Warriors. Badtz-Maru is dressed as Ken; Hello Kitty looks cute as Chun-Li; Pochacco sports blonde hair for his Ken get-up.
The cross-over line also includes protective iPhone 5 and 3rd-gen iPad cases. They come in two options: Hello Kitty as Chun-Li or as an angry Ryu. The iPhone 5 case costs $ 35, while the iPad case is priced at $ 45.
